RTM – Volontari nel Mundo is an Italian non-profit organization that seeks innovative solutions to support sustainable development in communities confronting significant infrastructural challenges. Having experienced the mounting waste management issues in and around Bethlehem, Palestine, RTM founded the Bethlehem Educational Creative Reuse Center (BeCRC), to collect, clean and make safety available discarded factory materials to schools and other educational facilities for creative reuse. Because this concept was a new one to the local population, they commissioned Element Media to create two promotional videos that would deliver their important message. The first was a motion graphics video that helped the local community understand the basic concept of creative reuse, including all the steps involved to repurpose discarded factory materials into safe learning tools for children and youth. The second was a live action short that showed creative use in action—children using the materials to learn about their communities. The videos were circulated on social media and has led to  significant interest in the Center’s activities among educators.
